Player Data Invalid - SpellForce

I finally beat BoW again to give myself a character to play SotP.

However, there's this titular error message.
It seems the likely reason is that my character managed to go over level 30. Which is a bit of a cynical trap because after you install SotP, you can naturally go over 30in BoW.
I can import my earlier lv 29 one, but that means I lost a lot of endgame loot.

I would gladly edit my character to level 30 to go SotP, but I don't have that sort of editor. Does anyone know where I can get it?

Thanks, especially that MegaDev one seems to come with trojan.

One more small problem. The guide seems to come with the amt that pre-dates SotP. Any idea where the SotP amt is? I guess I'll try SotP forum.

You can use the one attached in the thread. Even though it is called spellforce - the order of dawn.amt, it works for all campaigns and even free game.

I wonder if typing in lv 30 is enough, or if corresponding experience points is also needed to be edited for valid avatar ?
I have found that 20.000 =lv 12, and 380.000 =lv 30.

Btw if you're anyway going to use artmoney, it is far easier to use the fireburst lv 1 and get the equipment/spells you want on a lv 30 save then to change these stats back to lv 30,
if the missed loot is a concern.

You definitely have to edit the experience, then gain some - e.g. by killing an enemy and then you'll rise to the next level.
Don't modify anything else, for this will only lead to another "player data invalid"-error.

Modded down both level and experience. Still invalid.

Yes, if you increased those as well at lv 31.
I would give up and instead pic up the lv 29 save myself, then follow kei alexei guide for item/spell collection if need be.

Of course you have to edit abilities and stats as well. I thought you wanted to raise a character from scratch upwards.

The character has to be skilled just as if you had raised it in normal game mode.
So if you're level 31 you have to edit:

a) your experience
b) your level
c) your stats -5
d) your abilities -2 (make sure you have the correct stats for the abilities)

There is something i want to add:
If you want to go from any lower lv up to lv 30,
-you just edit experience to 380000 , then you will lv up by each kill until you
reach lv 30, after which normal lv/exp kicks in, and the avatar is valid.
Don't type in lv 30.

I have never tried to lv down, so i don't know how that works.
