% x melee combat damage

Do traits like % melee combat damage(strength i think) or % ranged combat damage work? They dont show up in damage section of equipment window. I am currently playing Spellforce 2 Shadow Wars campaign with a Spellforce 2 Gold edition.

They do apply but of course don't show in the stats window of the weapon you apply. I think it shows if you hover your mouse over your avatar (or hero) in the bottom left corner of the screen (must be selected of course).
But they do raise the damage. E.g. Blackmagic damage +10% raises every blackmagic damage you do - either by spell or magic staff.
